Do you know anyone who needs help to acquire higher education?
Of course; we all do!
Your benevolence can help create a better world by reducing poverty and inequality.
Why should you care?
According to Stats SA, more than half of South African youths aged 18-24 cannot afford the financial means to pay for higher education.
The implication is clear and frightening:
- there will be more unskilled men and women going forward; an avoidable reality which will adversely affect the workforce of the future.
- when people have no marketable skills, they usually turn towards a life of crime and delinquency to survive.
- with a horde of unskilled and frustrated men and women roaming the streets daily, you and your family – as well as your business and property – will be at risk.
In other words, it is a vicious cycle!
This feedback loop will continue to be strengthened by the consequences of our inaction until and unless we act NOW!
Unless we contribute to ending the triple scourge of inequality, widespread poverty, and a lack of marketable skills, we are collectively unsafe!
At Regenesys Foundation, we believe that education is the greatest equaliser, the most important tool with which society can lift people out of poverty, give them a purpose in life, and help them become productive for the betterment of us all.
Following the trailblazing path of our partner, Saray Khumalo, the first black African woman to conquer Mount Everest and a seasoned fundraiser for educational programmes, the foundation is committed to linking generous sponsors to needy students so they can access quality higher education.
